Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026

This policy explains what Strickland Consulting, a sole proprietorship in Florida (“Zeal”, “we”, “us”), collects when you use the Zeal apps (ZealPresenter, ZealCast, ZealLens, ZealRemote and ZealView), the website zealstage.com and the services behind them, and what we do with it.

We do not sell personal information. We do not show ads. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

What we collect

  • Your account. Your name, email address and an account ID when you create an account or sign in, including with Sign in with Apple.
  • Your church’s organization. Its name, its members and their roles, and join codes your administrators create.
  • Your church’s content. Songs, services, slides, media, and settings your team saves so they sync between devices.
  • Purchases. Which plan your church has and when it renews. Payment card details are handled by Apple and never reach us.
  • Crash reports. Technical details when an app crashes, identified by your account ID and not your email address.
  • Usage counts. How many services and presentations your church runs in ZealPresenter, linked to your account, so we can understand how the product is used.
  • Security records. Who did what to an account or organization: sign-ins by our support staff, role changes, connecting or disconnecting a service, and actions taken on a production session in your building.

Video, audio and control traffic between Zeal devices on your church’s network stays on that network and does not pass through our servers. ZealLens, ZealRemote and ZealView send nothing to us unless someone signs in on that device.

This website uses no cookies and no analytics. Like any website, its host keeps standard server logs, such as the address a request came from and the page requested.

How we use it

To run the service: sign you in, sync your church’s content, apply your church’s plan, and connect the services your church chooses. To keep it working and secure: fix crashes, investigate problems you report, and detect misuse. To answer you when you contact us. We use usage counts in aggregate to decide what to improve.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that run parts of Zeal for us, and only what each needs:

  • Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage
  • Vercel: hosting for our servers
  • Bluehost: hosting for this website
  • Sentry: crash reports
  • Apple, Stripe and RevenueCat: purchases and subscriptions
  • Anthropic: when you use Smart Import Cleanup, the text of the songs you send to be tidied

If your church connects Planning Center, CCLI SongSelect, YouTube or Facebook, we exchange with that service what the feature needs. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a buyer if the business is sold, under this policy.

YouTube and Facebook

An owner or administrator may connect your church’s YouTube channel or Facebook Page, so Zeal can create broadcasts, show and manage live comments, set titles and descriptions, and show viewing figures. We store the access granted encrypted, never send the long-term credential to a device, and delete it when the connection is removed.

Zeal uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s use of information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove Zeal’s access at any time in Zeal, or from your Google account’s security settings.

You can remove Zeal’s access to Facebook in Zeal, or in your Facebook settings under Business Integrations.

How long we keep it

Account and church content: until you delete it or ask us to. Crash reports: 30 days. Security records are kept indefinitely, because they exist to show what happened to an account after the fact, and they cannot be edited.

Security

Traffic to our servers and between Zeal devices is encrypted. Access to your church’s data is checked on our servers against your role in the organization. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

Your choices

You can view and change your account details in the apps. To delete your account, email support@zealstage.com from the address you sign in with, and we will delete it and confirm when it is done. Your church’s content belongs to its organization: an owner can ask us to delete the organization and everything in it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to receive a copy of it, or to object to how we use it. To use any of these rights, email us at the same address and we will respond within the time the law requires. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Zeal is for church teams and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the apps or by email when the change is significant.
